Counselling and Wellbeing

Our counsellor specialises in mindfulness-based counselling and approaches to managing anxiety, stress and trauma in life and work for adults.

We work with individuals to create a safe space where you can process fear, anxiety, and trauma by understanding how your mind works, and the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and how they impact the quality of your life.

We teach people to recognise and identify emotional triggers and symptoms, the habit of thoughts and emotions in our lives and ways to create new habits and behaviours that improve our lives.

Mindfulness

At Blaze Psychology and Wellbeing mindfulness tools and practices are super important to us, as they help us to manage the challenges in our own lives, work and relationships. We've therefore developed a range of mindfulness-based services to also support you in your everyday lives.

So what is mindfulness? Well, it’s a relationship. It’s the relationship we have with ourselves and the world around us. It’s about deliberately paying attention to the present moment, so that we’re fully aware of what’s happening in the world around us and inside ourselves. It’s about bringing an attitude of curiosity, acceptance and friendliness to our experiences, and letting go of our habits of judgment and criticism of ourselves and others.
