Cancellation Policy

To provide the best possible care for all clients, Blaze Psychology and Wellbeing respectfully asks that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
An SMS and email appointment reminder will be sent out via our automated system at least 72 hours prior to your upcoming appointment. All appointment changes, including cancellations and reschedules, are your responsibility and are to be made via SMS, phone or email at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. A voicemail can be left on our phone after hours or over the weekend.
Cancellation Fees:
- Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will incur a $150.00 cancellation fee.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled consultation fee.
- Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice ("no-show") will result in 100% of the scheduled consultation fee being charged.
- Note that cancellation fees are not claimable through Medicare or private health insurance.
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Blaze Psychology and Wellbeing.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Providing adequate notice allows us to offer appointment times to other clients who may be waiting for care.
